In The Castle of Baron...

Kain Highwind...Leader of the Dragoons of Baron. He followed in his father's footsteps as he grew up. His father had died when he was young though, and he was truely cared for by th king of Baron...along with another orphan, Cecil Harvey. The other child the two boys grew up with was Rosa Farrell. As the three grew up a sort of Love Triangle started to form...Rosa fell in love with Cecil as he became a dashing young Dark Knight. Kain to couldn't help his feelings toward the dark knight...but he was a bit quicker to the draw then Rosa... He had told Cecil...and Cecil proved to

have the same feelings. Though Rosa never found out as the two saw each other in secret. Kain loved being around Cecil more then anything...but he couldn't tell if Cecil's feelings were as pure as his...if his silver haired companion loved Kain the way Kain loved him.

It was years past the day the two men started there life with eachother. Kain never found a real flaw in Cecil. His man was perect. But every once and a while, he had to question Cecil's feelings...he thought it had just been when they were teenagers that Cecil wouldn't be able to make up his mind. But it seemed the same now...even as they were both 20. Rosa still didn't know...and Cecil never wanted to hurt her feelings, for reasons Kain didn't know. Cecil and Kain had never gone past kissing...Cecil would never let them...which really made Kain question his feelings more...

Night had fallen as Kain found himself, still in his dragoon armor, climbing up the multiple flights of stairs to Cecil's bed chamber. They met like this almost every day. No one bothered them up there...nobody ever came up here except for Cecil at night. Maids came during the day and sometimes early in the morning...and Rosa sometimes visited in the afternoon, but no one ever came up here as late as Kain, so he didn't even have to annouce it was him as he knocked on the door, he knew Cecil would know its him.

Cecil, Captain of Baron's reveired Red Wings, and more than friends with Kain, the Leader of Baron's elite Dragoons. Both had been raised by none other than the kind and wise king of Baron. Both were orphans who had grown up together, and through the years become more than the friends they had started out as. The two and Rosa, who had shown that she'd viewed Cecil as more than a friend, had gradually formed a sort of Mabudachi Trio. Although Cecil couldn't return her feelings, and still saw her as no more than friends, he hadn't the heart to tell her.

Cecil was, admittedly a little timid on going into the relationship he and Kain had, but he could tell that Kain was more than eager to be with him. Cecil really did love him, but he couldn't bring himself to go farther than kisses, despite him wanting to. Their relationship was of course, a secret. Not just from Rosa, but from everybody. They had kept to secret meetings, which Cecil didn't mind. Now that the sun had fallen, Cecil was sure Kain would be making his way to his room soon enough. The door clicked open, and even though it could've been any one of the residents of Baron Castle, Cecil knew it was Kain. They always met like this, just for these sort of things. He turned to face the door, his Dark Knight armor still on, and Kain's Dragoon armor on as well. "Kain," he couldn't help but smile as he approached him. This would be one of the times he could say he was truely happy. Whenever Kain was with him, he could care less about the rest of Baron, who was blissfully unaware of their relationship.

Kain smiled as Cecil approached him. He reached out and pulled Cecil even closer. He pulled off Cecil's helmet and threw it onto the bed on the other side of the room, "Hello Cecil." He said with a slightly evil smile. His hand rested on Cecil's hip as he pulled Cecil so close they were pressed together. He lowered his head the slightest amount and kissed Cecil passionatly. His free hand wrapped under Cecil's arm and rested at the base of his neck as he continued to kiss the silver haired man. He knew the door was still open but the door just led to a set of stairs, and he and Cecil knew no one would see.

Cecil could never describe how much he loved being in Kain's arms like this. To be near him was enough to make him happy, but to be in his arms like this, well, it was like heaven. In Kain's arms like this, with just the two of them, Cecil could say his life was perfect. He melted into the deep kiss Kain had begun, one of his hand's on Cecil's hips, and one weaved around his arms and laying lightly near his neck. Through the passion of their heated kiss, Cecil could see the door open. Although no one ever came up here at this time of night, it still left Cecil a little uncomfortable that it was like an opening for anyone to walk in and see them like this, during their meetings. "K-Kain...the door.." he mumbled into their kiss. His mind was getting sluggish from the ecstasy of Kain's kiss.

Kain pulled away and shook his head, taking his hands away from Cecil's body he took a step closer to the door, closing it quietly, "Why do you act so paranoid Cecil...you know just as much as I that no one is going to come up here..." he said in his deep voice, shaking his head crossing his arms in front of his chest as he frowned at Cecil..."Why do we have to keep our relationship from everyone anyway...I know Rosa is our friend and we don't want to hurt her...but I think she might understand..." he said. He meant it, he would have liked to be able to be affectionate in puplic, the two of them ended up together a lot anyway when it came to duties...Kain blamed Rosa for now unless Cecil had another reason for hiding there love from the world.

" It's just....you know, Kain...people wouldn't really appeal to us," Cecil turned away, embarresed, and shamed that he had wanted their relationship secret, while Kain didn't mind it if the world knew. And Kain wanted to go so much farther, Cecil really didn't think it was fair to keep holding him back like this. "I'm sorry, I really am..." Kain would be so much better off with someone who wasn't as afraid of being exposed to the public in a gay relationship. Kain deserved so much better than him, Cecil couldn't help but feel saddened and jealous by this at the same time. Too bad he wasn't a better boyfriend for Kain...

Kain let out a laugh, "Oh Cecil...You still act like a little child..." He took a step closer to him and wrapped his arms around him, "I don't mind sticking to these little private meetings...as long as I get to stay near you...you don't need to be sorry." He had really liked Cecil when they were teenagers, but he loved him now there was no denying it. He smiled hoping to cheer Cecil up. "We are fine the way we are, I'm sorry if what I said upset you in anyway..."

"Kain," Cecil snuggled tightly into Kain's warm and comforting embrace. He always knew how to cheer him up, no matter what it was, he could always do it. Kain had always been there for him, and he was extremely paitent of how he waited for him. "I'll get stronger at this kind of thing, I promise," he'd try to get enough confidence to reveal their hidden love, to go farther than kisses for Kain. He'd try, but he didn't know how long it'd take. Hopefully Kain would wait long enough for him.

Kain sighed softly. He ran his hands up and down Cecil's back. He pulled one hand away and pulled off his own helmet throwing it over beside Cecil's. His long blonde hair was tied up in a long ponytail. He blinked a little, letting his blue eyes adjust to the small amount of light, "I'm sure you will Cecil...in time i'm sure." he smiled slightly. His face was sharp and intelligent looking,but soft at the same time, especially when he was around Cecil.

Cecil loved how Kain looked without his helmet. In a way, he was beautiful and handsome in one way combined. He didn't think that his describing made much sense, but it was his way of viewing him. When Kain had his Dragoon helemt on, he looked nobel, heroic in an impressive brave way. Without his helmet, he had the features that of an angel. Still with the brave outlining, but he had softer looks, it was just what Cecil loved about him. Kain was perfect in every single way Cecil could see. He couldn't always describe what he was thinking about him, and when he could, it came out almost incomprehensible. It didn't matter though, he didn't actually voice his thoughts, though he suspected that Kain knew what he was thinking about anyway.

The fact that Cecil was looking at him lovingly again Kain couldn't help but laugh. He held Cecil's shoulders an arms length away, "You just going to look at me like that and not say anything." A toothy grin crossed his face, "If you want to say something you can come out and say it, the door is closed now the world is sealed off from us." The last bit was a sort of mocking tone, he couldn't really help it. He gave Cecil a peck on the lips before looking him in the eyes and smiling again.

"Just looking at how great you are," he laughed slightly, turning slightly red from embaressment. The sweet taste of Kain's lips against his always made him smile. And Kain was right. The door being closed meant that the rest of the world was sealed off from them, leaving this room just for the two of them.

Kain laughed again, "Cecil, Cecil, Cecil..." he said shaking his head though he continued to laugh, Cecil was the only person who could really get him to laugh like this, and get him out of his shell. He locked Cecil in another kiss, pulling him close again. He started slowly taking steps towards the bed leading Cecil, not breaking the kiss, he was getting tired of standing. He didn't sit just yet though, he didn't want Cecil to think he was trying to do something else and scare him away, as Kain feared he might do. He forced his tounge into Cecil's mouth letting it explore and play with Cecil's tounge.

Cecil was starting to panic when he could feel them moving backwards to where his bed was. He trusted Kain, he trusted him with his life. He was pretty surprised too when Kain had opened his mouth and had moved his tongue to get Cecil's to explore it. The fact that he was letting Cecil allow his tongue to roam Kain's mouth showed that he wasn't doing as Cecil had thought he was doing. Reassured now, Cecil let his tongue get used to the wet cavern, getting every place he could, tasting the inside of Kain's sweet mouth.

They contined to kiss for a long while before Kain broke away, let go of Cecil and sat down on the bed. He patted the spot beside him and waited for Cecil to join him. He hoped Cecil knew he wasn't going to do anything he wouldn't want him to, it had been like this forever between them. He smiled at Cecil. He didn't say a word hoping his body language would say it all for him.

The passion of their kiss was intense, as Kain's kisses always were. They always made Cecil's heart speed up twice as fast as normal, and it made the wind fly right out of him. Kain just made his body do those kinds of things, all the time. Kain ended their kiss, sitting down on the bed. Cecil tried keeping his breaths quiet, and he tried to get his heart to stop racing, but with Kain being here and all, that was pretty much impossible. Kain patted the spot on the bed next to him, showing that he wanted Cecil to sit near him, Cecil obliged like a dog eager to please. He attempted to hold back his excitment, but he didn't think he did very well.

Kain smiled, "settle down Cecil..." He wrapped his arms around Cecil's neck, pulling him close yet again, and kissing him again. Cecil had no idea the affect he had on Kain. Being around him,though his heart didn't start racing as rapidly as Cecil, it leapt, skipped beats and did speed up slightly. He wound one of his fingers lightly in Cecil's long hair as he continued to kiss the dark knight with passion. He loved feeling Cecil so close to him, it was one of the best things Kain had ever felt. He must admit he got slightly impatient with Cecil, but he would wait, he promised himself he would...

Cecil's face flushed deeper red, if that was possible. Already he had been blushing furiously, but Kain had spotted his anxiousness, and it made him slightly embarressed. Okay, more than slightly. But still, he wondered if his face could go anymore red. He loved the way Kain's fingers felt when they were intertwined with his hair, how his fingers would twist through. It was just a really relaxing feeling, and Cecil couldn't help but feel pretty safe, here in Kain's arms, every night in their secret meetings.

He started trailing kisses across Cecil's lips and across his jawline. Sucking slightly on his skin, moving his lips down, sucking and kissing the skin on Cecil's neck before moving back up and kissing Cecil passiontaly on the lips. Tugging ever so slightly at Cecil's hair, he loved Cecil's small reactions to everything he would do. He licked Cecil's lip, asking for them to open. With all the armor the two of them wore it really was a mircle the sound they made didn't get anyone's attention....

Cecil parted his lips upon feeling Kain's tongue asking permission to enter. He shuddered with pleasure, loving how Kain's mouth had gone all along his jaw and his neck, then moving up to his lips to re-claim them in another hot kiss. When Kain's tongue was in Cecil's mouth, it felt like he had given himself to Kain and only Kain. The same thought effect when Kain had his hands either roaming his body or running through his hair. He felt like he was Kain's, and Kain was his.

Kain let his tounge roam Cecil's mouth. With the one hand in Cecil's hair he pushed Cecil's face even closer his if that was possible, his tounge reaching even farther back into Cecil's mouth. He was glad Cecil was at least loyal, Kain would never have to worry about him running off with someone else, or leaving him just because he didn't want to even chance being seen in a gay relationship. This was enough for Kain, knowing the Cecil trusted him and loved him as much as Kain loved him. Kain moaned slightly into the kiss...mainly cause his armor was getting very uncomfortable, and very hot. He was tempted to pull away but didn't

Cecil couldn't help but release a little of the moan he'd been holding back when he had heard Kain's small moan into their kiss. He could feel Kain's body tensing up, but relax just as soon as he noticed it. Like he was holding back or something. He let it go though, seeing as Kain kept whatever to himself, and he trusted Kain, so it didn't matter, and all best to just drop it. Kain was always trustworthy, and he always would be.

Kain broke away slightly and sighed standing up, "You can't be comfortable wearing all that armor...I'm not..." He started taking his armor off letting it fall to the floor as he went. The clothes he wore underneath were thin. A sleeveless tight white top, me stretched his pale muscular arms slightly with a sigh. His pants were also pretty thin. They went down to his ankles and were a bit more loose then his shirt. The while little ansmble was pitch black. He looked over at Cecil with a smile, "That is so much better."

"You're gonna put all that back on when you need to leave?" Cecil raised an eyebrow and laughed. He figured it'd be less of a hastle if Kain left his armor on just so he didn't have to put it all back on again, then take it off when he got to his room. But, he did see Kain's point about the part where it was pretty uncomfortable wearing armor. And, he did get to see Kain's pretty awesome body, since he took his armor off. Cecil removed the breast plate of his armor first, figuring he'd need to take his off anyway, since it was his room and he'd be the one going to bed in it in time soon enough. He took off the rest of the metal pieces, enjoying the freedom from the stiffness the stuff set your limbs in.
"Yeah, okay, so you have a point there, it was uncomfortable," Cecil stretched his arms out, liking the cool air rather than being in the stuffy armor.

"I don't mind..." he said with a smile he sat back down next to Cecil and wrapped his pale arms around him tight, kissing him on the cheek. His secret little hopes of getting to stay in Cecil's room for the night as he so often wanted were dashed again. But he knew the chances of that were slim anyway. Cecil didn't want anyone seeing them together and the maid came up every morning. He ran a hand through Cecil's hair and smiled evilly as he always did.
